Our Commitment to Accessibility
National Restoration Construction LLC is committed to making narestco.com usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or display magnification. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the current benchmark recognized by accessibility practitioners and referenced in federal and state digital-access guidance.
This statement applies to all pages on narestco.com.
What We’ve Done to Support Accessible Use
Our site is built with semantic HTML so that headings, landmarks, and interactive elements are correctly announced by screen readers. Images that carry meaning include descriptive alternative text. Color contrast ratios on body text and interactive controls meet or exceed the 4.5:1 minimum required at AA. Forms — including our contact and estimate-request forms — have visible labels associated with each input field, and error messages are written in plain language so they’re useful whether you’re reading them visually or hearing them read aloud.
Links are written to make sense out of context, so a screen reader user navigating by link list can understand where each one leads without reading the surrounding paragraph. We avoid using color alone to convey information.
Known Limitations
We’re a small, locally owned contractor — not a large web team — and we acknowledge that some content may fall short of full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. Older PDFs (such as archived permit documents or insurance worksheets) may not be fully tagged for assistive technology. We are working to remediate these as we update our document library.
